Jahangir Ka Hindustan is an Urdu-translated book by Dr. Mubarak Ali. Mughal Jahangir was the son of the previous Mughal emperor, Akbar the Great. Jahangir is famous for his patronage of the arts. And his interest in botany and natural history, as well as for his religious tolerance. He also faced a number of rebellions during his reign, including one led by his own son, Khusrau Mirza.

دو، تین یا ان سے زیادہ خواجہ سرا جو کہ بنگال سے خریدے جاتے ہیں۔ اور جن کی وفاداری اپنے مالک سے ہوتی ہے، انہیں ہر بیگم کی نگرانی پر رکھا جاتا ہے کہ اس کے کسی اور مرد سے تعلقات قائم نہ ہوں اگر خواجہ سرا اس نگرانی میں ناکام ہو جائے اور کوئی مرد محل میں پایا جائے تو اس کی ذمہ داری اس پر آتی ہے، اس جرم میں اس کو موت کی سزا بھی مل سکتی ہے۔ محل کا مالک ان خواجہ سراؤں کی عزت کرتا ہے مگر اس سے زیادہ محل کی عورتیں ان کا خیال رکھتی ہیں ۔
اس کے بعد راجپوتوں سے تعلقات بہتر کرنے کا جو سلسلہ چلا تو ایک کے بعد ایک راجپوت شہزادی حرم میں داخل ہوتی چلی گئی۔ اودھے سنگھ یا موٹے راجہ کی لڑکی جودھا بائی اور رائے سنگھ بیکانیر کی لڑکی۔ اگلے دس سال میں اس نے 16 شادیاں کیں اور یہ سلسلہ تخت نشینی کے بعد بھی جاری رہا۔ کہا جاتا ہے کہ کنیزوں کی تعداد ملا کر کل خواتین کی تعداد 300 تھی ۔۔

These are such as the introduction of a standardized coinage system and the establishment of a system of local government.
